Film Poster Research

These are film poster some are old but have been re-invented for the modern age. Where as others are recent, I have also put in photos which inspire and catch my eye in all of these film posters there are certain conventions these include the title of the film, a picture (usually from the film or related to the film) and the release date.

I chose these photos because they inspire me and are related to the film, a Parkour based film. I may try to recreate some of this photos for use in the poster and the effects.

I made this video to show briefly what is likely to be shown within the film regarding action and mood.

I filmed it using my camera on my Ipod so the quality is poor, and the music used in the background is called Remembering Sunday. I used only the first 30 seconds of the music as it is reflective and the acoustic guitar helps engage the audience. The black and white effect help engage the viewer on the action as there no colour to distract them. It also calms the video and lets the music stand out.
